How it works
From any video to an editable script draft.
FrameToPage combines audio transcription, visual analysis, and script formatting to turn footage, creator clips, interviews, demos, and lessons into files you can revise.
Processing steps
Prepare the video
We extract audio and collect basic timing information.
Transcribe dialogue
We listen for spoken lines and speaker changes.
Identify likely speakers
When enabled, FrameToPage groups dialogue by likely speaker so the draft is easier to revise.
Watch the footage
We look for scene changes, visible text, action, and other context that helps the written draft make sense.
Write the script draft
We combine the transcript and visual notes into an editable script structure.
Format downloads
We generate PDF, Fountain, Final Draft, and plain-text files.
Works beyond film
Any recording works
Use FrameToPage when the source is a scene, a short-form clip, a recorded conversation, or a business video.
Bring your own link
Upload a file, or use a direct public video-file link from services like Google Drive, Dropbox, or your own storage.
Sample outputs
Processed from Public Domain Day, a short Archive-hosted video, into a reusable script package.
Processed from a public-domain NASA astronaut biography video into a speaker-aware script draft.
Processed from a public-domain television commercial into a concise script draft with export files.
Privacy and access
Cloud processing
Hosted jobs run in the cloud on trusted third-party infrastructure. Your video, transcript, sampled frames, and generated files are used solely to produce your script.
No training use
We do not use your footage, transcripts, or generated script files to train AI systems.
Access, sharing, and retention
Available for seven days
Your private job link opens the result page for seven days, including the script preview and generated download files.
Private by default
The job page is for you. Keep that private link somewhere safe if you want to return to the script later.
Share links are separate
You can create a public share link for someone else without giving them your private job link.
Controls for sharing
Share links can have their own passphrase, expiration, download setting, and can be revoked from the job page.
Delete anytime
You can delete the job and its uploaded/generated files from the job page before the seven-day window ends.
What to expect
Clear audio and clean edits produce better results. Long clips can take several minutes, and transcription is often the slowest step.
Review before you send.
AI can mishear lines, merge speakers, miss a visual beat, or over-describe action. Treat the output as a strong first pass, then give it an editorial read.
