Treat every result as a strong first pass, not a finished script. Clear audio and clean edits produce the best drafts. AI can mishear a line, merge two speakers into one, miss a visual beat, or over-describe action.

Some footage is genuinely hard to transcribe accurately. Accuracy tends to drop with:

• Strong or unfamiliar accents and non-standard pronunciation.
• Loud music beds or sound effects competing with speech.
• Crosstalk — people talking over each other.
• Distant mics, heavy reverb, wind, or low-bitrate audio.

When speech and music overlap, we can separate vocals to help, but expect to correct names, jargon, and overlapping lines by hand.

Transcription supports a wide range of languages and usually detects the spoken language automatically. English is the most thoroughly tested.

Screenplay formatting conventions (scene headings, transitions, character cues) are written in English regardless of the spoken language, so heavily multilingual footage may need extra cleanup.

Uploads can be up to 2 GB per file, and videos up to 3 hours long.

If your file is larger than the size limit, export a smaller or more compressed version, or trim it to the part you need before uploading.

Yes. You can paste a direct public video-file link from services like Google Drive, Dropbox, or your own storage. The same 3-hour length limit applies.

The link must point straight at a video file we can download, not a viewer or player page.

Your uploaded footage and the generated files are retained for 7 days, then automatically deleted. Your private job link opens the result page during that window.

You can also delete a job and its files from the job page at any time before the 7 days end.

No. We do not use your footage, transcripts, or generated script files to train AI systems. Your video, transcript, sampled frames, and outputs are used solely to produce your script.

If we can't produce your screenplay, you aren't charged.

If a job fails to generate a usable script, you are not billed for it.

You are. You must hold the rights to the footage you upload, or otherwise have permission to process it. Don't submit material you aren't allowed to use.

FrameToPage produces an editable draft from the video you provide; responsibility for the source material and how you use the output stays with you.

Yes. The Final Draft .fdx file opens in Final Draft 12+. You also get PDF, Fountain, and plain-text versions of the same draft.

Fountain files open in most modern screenwriting apps, and PDF is ready to read or print as-is.
